So Why Train with Kirsty?Life is all about balance and just like on an aeroplane when you are told to fit your own oxygen mask before helping others many people find out too late the importance of looking after themselves first. I am a REP's Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist as well as a (FrYog Int. Dip) Yoga Instructor and 3rd Dan Karate Black Belt. However what is more important than all my qualifications is the way I structure my sessions. I will take the time to understand you and your body. All of my sessions whether they be 1-2-1, or in groups are built around you, to make sure that you find the training fun, motivating and varied. When I am teaching Hatha yoga, my unique style encompasses exercises, postures, balances, stretches and energy techniques that I have found to be useful and effective in my almost 20 years of experience. My classes are suitable for all levels and abilities as I ‘layer’ all the work so that we start with ‘beginner-level’ postures and exercises and gradually increase the challenge or intensity with optional modifications and students are always urged to listen to their bodies and work to their own level. In terms of fitness and shape, I have personally had very good results with a Full Body Cross-training approach over the last few years and both I and my clients enjoy this training style. I like to keep training fun and varied...keeping brain and body guessing will keep you motivated and give you the results you are looking whether they are shape, fitness, fat-loss or just ‘feel-good’!
